I guffaw with merriment! While I am fairly curious about Giselle's "Poffer" and what's going on with him, I gather that he is involved in some kind of secret that we shall learn more of later. And with Elizabeth Bennet's love of the absurd and foolish, I love "Maundy"! He has a distinctly Mr. Collins-ishness about him that makes me laugh! His history is hillarious! I like him exceedingly well. I have to admit that the letter writing format is pretty clever. It provides a very good excuse for character exposition (at the very least) that not many other styles of story permit, and if any part of the exposition seems a bit random, it's excused by the fact that the letters are being exchanged by correspondents who know each other's quirks and understandings well enough to know what will be grasped and what won't. The multitudinous gods are amusing thus far, and if there is more room to give details on the members of this world's deities, I at least will delight in it. I don't know how humorous this story will remain, but I'm enjoying it immensely so far!
